GO NAVY!

Great job 2011! Congrats parents! Let the countdown to Herndon commence! :)

Which is now infinity + 1 days! :)

^^^^ LOL!!!

No, infinity is waiting for the 44's to arrive in freeport yesterday...... from 10am...... and by 2am (today) they were spotted just entering the Jones Beach Inlet off the south coast of Long Island (escorted by the Coast Guard)....still with another hour to go! Now THAT was a long wait!

ps.... all arrived safely!

Son delighted that there's a Chick-fil-A in the mall and it serves REAL sweet tea! What little discoveries did other Plebes find?

Magnificent, huge crabcakes ... Edgewater Inn (or Diner?); Among the 1st of his co. to view The Bourne Ultimatum; Chevy's has incredible and huge servings of Mexican cuisine and BIG sombreros for plebes celebrating b-days

Perhaps most profoundly, that his 17 year old blonde baby sis is indeed a human, and not bad at all, as his fellow plebes readily assured him!

I am not the parent of a USNA Class of 2011 - but my daughter's best friend just finished her USNA Plebe Summer so I've been reading these posts (my daughter heads off to college in less than 2 weeks). I was surprised and excited to see my daughter's friend and her family featured in the WJZ newscast video at the top of this thread. Thank you so much for posting it. I was curious to find out how your PPW experience was. It must have been so wonderful to see your sons and daughters again. We got an e-mail from my daughter's friend this morning - so my daughter is thrilled she'll be able to improve the flow of communication going forward. I wish your sons and daughters continued success as they begin their academic programs.
