What are your stats (NOT SAT/ACT scores, just ecs, awards, etc.) for those who got into PLME ED or RD last year?

The only awards I have are from getting the highest grade in particular classes, but I also listed some nominal awards from tennis and violin/piano work. I started the science club in my school, and I have a founding role in my school's recycling process and environmental awareness club. I do other less-signifcant clubs, but I think what helped me was the internship I took at a cancer research lab over the summer. I've only been volunteering at a hospital for a little over a year, so I'm surprised that I got in with that. I was expecting people who had a much more comprehensive profile in the medical world. I also am very avid in cooking, so I included that and a recipe with my activity list plus three short elaborations on what I wanted to highlight. I like to think that seemingly superfluous information actually helped.

did you have like super duper essays, ive heard those help a lot? and did you do ED binding to brown, seems like everyone who got in ED did that

I don't think my essays were spectacular, but dyx can tell you for certain. I did apply binding ED.

i dont think ive talked to anyone who got in ED and did non-binding...yet?

I know of someone who got in ED and non-binding.

but of course, he was basically an amazingggg individual.

I haven't talked to anyone who got in without doing ED though.

6570882's essays were amazing, partly because they're good in their own right, and also because his approach to them was quite different from mine
