Our nurture is the cause of our characteristic trait and behavior. Often ,consciously or unconsciously we behave like the one we admire ; ironically inheriting the styles and behavior of them rather than our parents' . The journey of Siddhartha from becoming prince to the creator of buddhism supports this. Furthermore , an example from the novel , ' The Great Gatsby ' also exemplifies this fact.

the fact that our nurture is the cause of our behavior is illustrated by the life of Prince Siddhartha.
The son of the King Suddhodana was predicted to become a sage before even his birth by an astrologer Buddhodharya . Knowing this the King enforced all is court men to file all the old , dying and ill people to the outskirts of the city . He believed this to become the cause of the predicted fortune. There were commands that the Prince should only see happiness and there should be no grieved soul in the state .When the prince grew up[ he wondered that had he seen everything or was there anything left to discover in his life. thinking this he disguised himself and went to the outskirts of the state where he saw people dying by epidemic , malnutrition illnesses he had never imagined in his life, all happening to the old and young ones. this proved to be the turning point in his life. the prophecy turned out to be true - the son of a King was now a pilgrim for his entire life.

In fact , the novel ' The Great Gatsby ' also serves this purpose. James was the son of a poor cobbler , his father never imagined a better life. he at a young age, henceforth , fled away from home or an opportunity. he sailed through sees in order to catch fishes and earth some money to survive. once he was sailing when he found a man i adverse circumstance and on the verge of death barely managing to float himself in the sea . james gushed toward him and saved his life . the man was John Gatsby the most richest person of new york. he gave james all his wealth when he died and made him the , what we know as the protagonist of the story - J. Gatsby. james' optimistic nature contrasting he's after was developed by the experiences which were different from his father's .

All these examples of the change due to experiences in life show that nurture is the cause of different behavior. As the novelist Sir R Harold once said, "It is the will of the person that takes him to the ninth cloud , not a mere birth with a silver spoon in mouth".

guys I’ve made up some facts like james in the great gatsby, buddhodharya , Sir R harold … etc.

I’m not an expert in SAT essays so I won’t give you an estimated grade but as 1) I’m buddhist and 2) I read the Great Gatsby last month, I can tell you a lot of your essay is inaccurate. Write about something you actually know about or at least about a book you really understand next time. :)
