The test scores need to go up, but you have time so you can do it. I don’t know if it would be wise to take three additional SATs, do any of these schools even require three? Most of the time they are just recommended

Rice-reach

well uc’s require 2 and rice require 2 or act in place of them
i just want to offset my low sat 2 in us history and take some science ones since i’ll be majoring in a science

Caltech- high reach
UC Riverside- low match
UC Berkeley- mid reach
UC Irvine-in
UCLA- low reach
UCSD- in
U of Maryland (college park)- match

its clearly good that your GPA has an upward trend, but i think 3.5 UW may be a little low especially for caltech and duke. you need to bring your SAT at least to 2000. I think aiming for a 400+ point increase is a little lofty, but if you think you can do it, go for it!
good luck!

My predictions match Osceola’s, your ECs and GPA is there, but your SATs aren’t.
And def. retake Math 2, a 730 is low, considering that test has a GENEROUS curve.

Duke, berkely and Cal tech are going to be extremely hard to get in to for you because you only took 3 honors classes through junior year. That combined with low sat’s means that your not getting in without a solid hook

Alright. Caltech really shouldn’t even be on your list. I’m sorry, but the only reason I say this is they are one of the MOST SAT score conscious schools in the country. They really value their SAT scores, because they want their ranges to remain high. You have more leeway with Reading and Writing, but by “more leeway” I mean low 700s. Math you NEED 750+, ideal 780+. I’m not trying to discourage you, I’m just saying you’re going to need to bump that score up a RIDICULOUS amount.
On the other hand, you’re GPA is very good, but the .2 difference makes me think that you haven’t taken the hardest possible courses. Regardless, that is good. For you’re schools you will need at least a 2000 SAT and to maintain that GPA.
Honestly, you’ve got some big name schools on that list with subpar stats. The biggest problem here is the SAT, because it is an equalizer. You’re high GPA with abnormally low SAT for that GPA and class rank shows your school might not be all that great. However, you are not doomed. Just keep your head up and try your best; you will end up where you’re meant to be in the end.

Thanks for chancing me!
Rice: reach
Duke: reach
Caltech: reach
UC Riverside: in
UC Berkeley: low reach
UC Irvine: in
UCLA: match
UCSD: match

Is there any way that you can increase your gpa? I think your EC’s would be enough for, say, Berk., but for Rice and Duke, it might be a stretch with an 1810. Your EC’s look decent, and your minority status (not exactly sure what) will help to an extent, too. Keep going at that SAT! =)

u really need to improve your SAT score. then u have a decent shot at ucla/cal and then most likely in at the rest of the UCs. caltech = reach. good luck!
and i would retake the math II…if you have the time

Rice - low reach/ high match
Duke- reach
Caltech- low reach
UC Riverside
UC Berkeley- high match
UC Irvine
UCLA- match
UCSD
U of Maryland (college park)- match

sorry I didn’t chance you for all of them, I’m not familiar with all the UCs. Good luck!

Right now, most of those schools are reaches… (with the exception of maybe some of the UCs, but I don’t know a ton about some of them). If you get your SAT score up to where you are aiming for, then most will be matches/low reaches or you will be in. Good luck!

Rice-reach

U of Maryland-match with better CR on SAT

like everyone else, you have to get your 500 on CR up, you can purchase a review book, that’s what helped me, or just taking practice tests, unfortunetly this stupid SAT test is what most colleges look at! but congratulations on all of your other achievements! :)
