plz chance at rice/baylor and case

<p>hey guys</p>

<p>i'm a rising senior at the texas academy of mathematics and science @ unt. for those of you unfamiliar with the program, its a 2 year program that lets you live at unt and take a full load of college classes. for all intensive purposes, the program lets you skip your last two years of high school and get a head start on college. after two years, however, you must apply as a freshman to another college and have your credits transferred. </p>

<p>here are my stats</p>

<p>sat I: 2190
act : 35
sat II: bio: 790, chem: 780, math: 780
COLLEGE gpa (this is a real college gpa at unt): 3.56
High School gpa (freshman and soph years): 3.66 uw / 4.0 w
5/5 on bio ap, 5/5 on world history ap</p>

<p>ec's
golf team member freshman year
avid golfer year round, compete in many tournaments
600+ hrs of community service @ hospital with extensive patient contact</p>

<p>1 summer research (continuing into school year) at major med school, bench & clinical, no pubs yet</p>

<p>active member in
hosa, fbla / tfa, hope (community service), sports club</p>

<p>active with computers, have taught myself some languages</p>

<p>prob more thats not coming to mind right now</p>

<p>Case and Baylor emphasize prior research experience, and a strong connection to medicine.</p>

<p>Also, Case and Baylor admits have pretty high gpa, and scores. Your SAT score, and your UW GPA is lacking.</p>
