How do I know my PMs / replies are sent to my intended recipients? My sent messages are not showing up in my “Sent” folder, even after I checked the box that allows me to save copies.
I wouldn’t want to inundate people’s inboxes with multiple sends, but wouldn’t want them to think I was ignoring their questions either!

How many messages are currently stored on your account? I’m wondering if perhaps you’ve met your limit. I sent a PM earlier today and it is showing in my sent folder. Please let me know if you are still having this issue.
You said you have checked the “Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default” option, so it may just be your storage limit. Thanks!
