Political opportunities/internships

<p>I have applied to Albany as a Political Science major. I am looking to get into politics and was wondering if there are many internships and political opportunities for SUNY Albany students in the city? I mean, obviously, it's the state capital, but I just need some sort of reassurance. I would really like to hear from anyone who has majored in Poly Sci at Albany just elaborate on their experience and how it has shaped their future.</p>

<p>im transferring this coming fall to a suny school as well, not albany though, and majoring in poli sci too. i went to visit plattsburgh and they have several internships in Albany and Washington. they can be done in the summer or fall and spring semesters as 12 credit interships. i assume if plattsburgh, which is much smaller than albany, does it than they will as well</p>
