Political Science and History double major?

Hi all, I'm just wondering how difficult it is to both elect political science and history as a double major (assuming one gets in as a political science major), and to complete it (within about 3 years as a junior level transfer student).

Thanks and good luck everyone!

History is an easy major, so no worries there.

Remember you can only take 2 upper div classes to fill the requirements of 2 majors. You will have to check the class guide book to see which classes you need to take and if you can pull it off.

History might be an easy major, but you have to write a thesis to graduate, and take what, 12 classes for the major?

Poli sci requires you to take like 8 upper div courses and 5 lower div courses.

And for poli sci, you have to take what, at least one, but is it two history classes, or what? And these can count for the poli sci, and there is some overlap in the lower divs (for non-transfer students). But because you're a transfer, the whole situation is different, at least somewhat, but i'm not sure quite how.

Actually, Poli Sci requires 7 upper division courses and 3 lower division courses in political science, and two history courses (could be lower or upper, doesn't matter) in U.S. and world history.

That's a total of 12 classes.
