I plan on going into the foreign service (diplomacy, UN) or into international rights work.
Either way, I would like to major (or combine major/major, major/minor) in something related to International Politics. I was accepted in Georgetown's SFS which offers that as a major. I know WashU (and most other schools) don't have such high-calibre specialized foreign sevice programs. But I would still like to attend WashU.

Does anyone know of the calibre of these programs at WashU?
If I major in PoliSci, is there a way to have an international component?
How strong are the programs in preparing students for Capitol Hill careers?
I know WashU is very science heavy, but to students in these programs receive similar resources/funding/internships/study abroad opportunities?
Last one, humanities (especially polisci) are very debate-heavy - discussion type studies in which there is no official "right or wrong" like science. Some schools I have visited, I can sense an agenda like mentality of professors that are not open/do not encourage/grade harder students with other viewpoints. How would WashU compare?

Many thanks!
