Hi all. I heard that political science is somewhat like the fall-back major that ND kids declare when they have no idea what to do. But this thread is directed towards the people who actually have a genuine interest in pursuing poli sci. I just want to gain an insight on how it is like to be a political science major at ND. How is the course load? How does a poli sci major at ND compare to other schools within the top 25? How easy/hard is it for poli sci graduates to find jobs or internships after graduation or perhaps during summers? ...things like that. I want to major in poli sci at ND, but I am also very interested in international studies. I know that within the poli sci major there is an element of comparative politics and international policy and relations, but what I am wondering is, is the poli sci major at ND enough? I was thinking of perhaps double majoring in poli sci and international relations. I know that sounds redundant, and ND doesn't have international relations anyway. So would a poli sci major be enough in my case?
