Hey,

I'm having trouble finding some programs that would allow me to study abroad summer 2011 and study courses in international relations, political science, human rights... Anyone know of any? I'm open to studying here in America as well but I REALLY wanted the abroad experience. I will be a senior in Fall 2012.

I found 2 European Union study abroad programs, one with ISA Abroad based in Brussels, Belgium, with trips to other cities in Belgium and The Hague, Netherlands. Another one was with IES Abroad based in Freiburg, Germany, with trips to Turkey, Croatia, Kosovo, etc. They also have Prague, Czech Republic, programs. Both of these are about 5-7 weeks long during the summer, and may have an internship possibility as well. If you are more interested in Asia, I’m not sure these two programs offer them, but there are several available. They also offer South American programs. It would be great if you thought about volunteering as part of a study abroad. There is a program called Global Volunteers with different options around the globe. Maybe you could do a study abroad program with a university and then volunteer. Good luck!
