I’ve heard that AU is very politically active.

I like politics but im definitly not overly politically active. Will it be hard for me to go to AU if im not as into politics as everyone else?

Honestly, once people get here, they get into politics. I think some people can find the atmosphere a little oppressive, but its a great school if you're into/want to get into politics.

i also think, even if you aren't into politics, that once in DC there's something contagious about the political electricity being in the nation's capital! but there are many ways to be "active",ie, environment, community service, global perspectives, etc. you'll find yours...good luck!

Thanks. that helped alot
