It seems like Cal Poly is in an interesting time right now with recent events on campus. I’ve read many articles that have both said Cal Poly is more liberal and others saying that its more conservative. Which way do you think Cal Poly leans?
My son is a student there. My take is that it is pretty middle of the road. There are many progressive students that champion ideas regarding the environment, equality, etc., but there are conservative students too. It is a microcosm of the country. No matter your ideals, you’ll be able to find like minded students, but also be presented with differing views should you care to hear them.
