Politics Philosphy & Economics for Law school

I was looking at majors for undergrad, and I intend on going to law school. Which of these schools programs is the best prep for law school and the easiest

  1. U Penn
  2. UVA
  3. Duke

All good, none easy

every school is different. And for what is ‘easiest’ depends on your background and skills. oth Econ and Philosophy are great for learning critical thinking skills which will be important in LS. (Politics, generally, not so much critical thinking needed as the easier ‘A’ is just to parrot the professor’s pov.)

Econ at the top schools tends toward quant knowledge and ability. Philosophy is great if you are a strong writer. But grading depends. One of the more difficult major at Cal Berkeley for example, is Philosophy as it has the lowest mean GPA. (They consider it a badge of honor.) Cal Philosophy even has a lower mean GPA than one of the popular premed majors.

I was speaking specifically to the specialized programs at these schools that combine to make the PPE major. I couldn’t find to0 many other threads on the subject.

Major doesn’t matter for law school. Major in whatever you like. No one is going to be able to say which is easiest unless they attended all of the schools.
