Politics..

As business majors, how do you identify yourselves politically?

Democrat/Republican?
Liberal/Moderate/Conservative?

I read somewhere that a majority of business and engineering students identify themselves as republicans and conservatives while social science/science majors would identify themselves as liberals and democrats.

I'm a libertarian and am fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I tend to side more with the repubs than the democrats but tend to have disgust for both parties.

Having worked on a project with students from the school of architecture I can definitely attest that the student base of these colleges are completely different. Sure, there are liberals studying business and conservatives studying architecture but overall I'll just go ahead and label business students as money hungry power fiends and architecture students as dope smoking hippies.

^ I completely side with you on your political views. Thats exactly what I feel. However, I lost all respect for Libertarians after Bob Barr became their presidential candidate. Could they have elected a candidate thats more of a hard-core conservative than him? Its pathetic and a mere mockery of Libertarian values.

You'll find a few far leftists majoring in Economics and more than a few liberals in marketing, accounting and info sciences.
