Poll: Do you think you would have learned more if you homeschooled yourself?

"InquilineKea - that is kind of creepy that you are collecting peoples' quotes on homeschooling. Shouldn't you ask their permission first? What are you planning to do with those?"

uhh - if you post anything online - you should be prepared for the possibility that someone's going to copy what you wrote (the same goes for virtually anything). As long as you're collecting it only for private use, there is no reason not to collect it.

I'm collecting them for personal use (as motivators, in a sense). I've been collecting motivational quotes for some time (and homeschooling quotes are especially motivational since they motivate me to take self-studying seriously)

If you start to "like" someone, it's natural for you to start collecting some of her quotes and paste them in some personal folder, for example. :p (no I didn't do this for romani, I did that for someone else)

But yeah, some homeschoolers DO find ways to develop social skills (after all - people were social hundreds of years ago - when the vast majority of pupils did not go to public schools). Personally I think it's more dependent on the individual. I was asocial in school, and I would have been asocial irrespective of whether I went to school or not.

What do you mean it's bad in Detroit? You mean it's NOT completely spiffy that Pfizer, GM, and Ford are dying? Better get out of here soon...

Bookwise: Probably. Too conditional.
Socially: Heck no.

^^ Lmao. No it's COMPLETELY spiffy.
