I'm currently a senior in Political Science major at Penn State, I've made my mind up that I want to attend some form of graduate school. I have aspirations of working in government not politics, at PSU my concentration has been on International Relations. My question is what would suit me better for my goals, a MA from West Virginia University in Political Science in the IR core or a International Affairs with the major of Security and Intelligence Studies from Pitt's GSPIA. WVU is an unranked polisci program while GSPIA is a well known program both globally and domestically. I understand that GSPIA is more a preprofessional grad program while a MA in polisci is more academically based with people intending to get their PhD, I have no desire to pursue a PhD. Any input would be great, thanks!
