You should attend! I went to last year’s event and it was one of the best weekends of my life, no joke. You meet a lot of other accepted high school seniors in the same position as you. Everyone volunteering dedicates their time to show you how great of a school cal poly is. On the Saturday, you actually get a private tour of your respective academic college by the DEANS themselves so you can ask a lot of questions. You also get to spend the nights in the dorms/ on campus apartments.

My D just found out she can’t make the preview day (CMEA festival). This weekend sounds like a lot of fun. LPCnative, do you think there’s enough opportunity to learn about her college (engineering) at this event? She’s done the pre-view tour, but needs help deciding between schools. Thanks for insight.

^^^yes. On your academic college tour. Your daughter and fellow engineering majors will take a tour with the Dean of engineering and tour all the engineering facilities on campus. She will get a look at just some of the classrooms and labs on campus.

I’m not sure. I would go contact. But in my opinion, you will kind of miss out on the icebreakers and events Friday. The event starts around 6pm Friday and doesn’t end till 12-1am.
