Are Pitzer decision out yet? I have a friend anxiously waiting to hear back from them.
Sat for bay area? What do you think?

person, im guessing saturday for bay area as well. im assuming that it comes through usps, so it cant be here today, for me at least (i already got my mail). the bummer part is that it wont be here for a while if you get denied since it isn’t priority mail…

@jsungoh and dulcecab13 where do you guys live?

I have been wait listed by CMC and I am very nervous about Pomona right now!
Congratulations on your acceptance to Pomona :)

Rejected, should have shown more interest…

Do international students get their decisions by email?! Freaking out here :(

congrats dulce! was it priority mail?

SoCal Region (San Fernando valley)

Great job to everyone accepted! Now I’m really anxious for my decision to come!

I’m social 10-15min away from Claremont
Priority mail!
Also I received letters from Pitzer and CMC today.

Hey,
I live about 2 hours from Pomona and saw that someone who also lived 2 hours away already got their acceptance letter! Does this mean I was rejected since Pomona doesn’t priority mail rejection letters? I really hope not–I’m in love with Pomona and after being wait-listed by CMC, it’s probably my last chance to go to a Claremont College…

Does anyone how international get their accept/reject mail?

We’re patiently waiting here in WA State.

My son got a large envelope from Pomona this afternoon with the official Class of 2015 enrollment materials. He was one of the first to get his ED1 envelope in the fall since we live in LA. We’ve been hearing a lot of great feedback from health professionals about Pomona. My doctor’s wife is on the board of USC medical admissions and she says they are dying to get their hands on the Pomona premeds. Pomona has an excellent reputation amongst the top graduate schools.

I wonder if there’s any correlation between previously being able to see the “In At Pomona” tab and being accepted…I could see the tab but I live in California and haven’t received anything

I could see the tab before the portal was disabled and I was accepted :D

I got rejected Pomona was my first choice.

SAT 2250
GPA 3.87
SAT IIs: 770 USH, 730 Lit

I’m not quite sure why I didn’t get in. I visited Pomona (from Wisconsin), kept up a correspondence with the local admissions rep, and had a good interview. The best essay I wrote was for Pomona too. A girl from my school applied as a legacy; I hope that didn’t affect my decision. :(

My son is class of Pomona '13. I distinctly remember him sitting at his computer when he found out he was accepted. He received the big white envelope within the next few days.

And sorry, Proclivity. You look like an amazing candidate, and I am sure you’ll end up somewhere that is perfect for you.

Sadly no, the portal was disabled.

Still waiting in the south…

Do the rejection letters come in regular mail? Also, are the acceptances FEDEXed or Priority USPS?
Thanks and Congrats to all those who were accepted!

They are Priority Mail and mine came in a small/regular-sized envelope.

Thank you west coast mom. Thts what im hoping is the case. I got into WashU which is one of my top choces as well so im not Totally devastated.
