I got really excited, I have to say, getting mail > looking at teh screen.

oh-location: deep south!

anyone receive an email yet with the new log in for accepted students?

Second D just received the big white envelope from Pomona. She is in!!! We are ecstatic, of course, to have both of our kids in Pomona.

The class of 2015 was really tough to get in. According to the admission letter, Pomona received about 7,200 applications for 395 spots… That is just incredible!

For the lucky few to get in this year, congrats… and to others, again, do not despair. There is a good school out there for you.

no letter yet here in the midwest im assuming this is not good news, as someone from my school has already gotten an admissions package…hoping for the best, expecting the worst at this point. ps congrats to all who have gotten in so far!

Still waiting for the mail to get here. I am not happy about it.

Is it by USPS?

Are rejections sent as priority mail? Or is this a get accepted today, rejected on Monday type of deal?

Anybody hear in Florida?

Acceptances are by USPS Priority Mail. I believe rejections and waitlists are sent express mail.

accepted!! i’m over the moon right now.
i live in northern illinois, just got it today

Strange… it seems like there are only acceptances today, but there are two people on this thread who have reported being waitlisted and rejected. I haven’t gotten anything yet.

Anyone hear in Nevada? I’m worried because we’re right next door to CA and I didn’t get anything in the mail today… probably rejected…

Wiscokid, I was accepted as Wesleyan too! Same boat :P

@manarius… So if I didn’t get a letter today (in the midwest) should I assume waitlist/rejection?

Again, I’m inclined to believe that those accepted heard today, but some, such as Proclivity, heard of their rejection today. So i’m not sure what to think. Maybe they send decisions out in waves?

FWIW, letters were dated March 24th.

It may also dependon the handling and sorting of mail by the post offices. I wouldn’t be concerned.

Sent from my DROIDX using CC App

Anyone in NY area hear today?

Rejected. Disappointing, but I was accepted to Middlebury, Wesleyan, Vassar, Haverford, and Carleton recently, so I guess I still have some choices. I really would have loved an option on the west coast though…

Ok so that settles it; they definitely send these decisions out in waves, or the mail is just getting delayed in certain parts of the country. In any case, not getting a letter today clearly does not indicate one decision or another.

^^sorry about your rejection btw. you still have some great options
