ponytails vs. messy buns vs. hair down

^Well, the way I have my hair now, if I literally don’t do anything to it, it will all fall out. Hopefully, slowly enough that I would not at any time be bald. So yeah, I do need to do something to it.

Were I to do nothing to my hair, it would not get long in a very noticeable manner. It’s what some people do. It’s not what “I do.”

Yeah, I kind of figured that Locks of Love wasn’t reliable after I sent in a foot of hair at the age of 10 and never got my certificate :frowning:
I was looking forward to it for a looong time.

Anyway, my hair’s been pretty short for more than a year now and I’m getting bored of it. Maybe I’ll have an opportunity to donate to Wigs for Kids a couple of years from now.

Oiling - putting oil in your hair

What natural shampoos would be good? I currently use herbal essences for dry/damaged hair. The roots seem to get oily too often but the ends are drying out sooooo much!

^ I don’t know. I can’t afford the natural stuff lol. I use Aussie Cleanse and Mend. (I have oily roots and dry ends).

Preference by guys:

 1. hair down
 2. pony tail

Most guys want long hair on girls because guys got short hair covered.

yeah hair down looks nice

+1 on either hair down or pony tail, in that order.

I ocassionally blow dry my hair & curl it.

I usually straghten it because if I don’t, it’s a pig poofball!

I put my hair in a ponytail when it’s really hot or when I work out.

Although I bet using the “natural stuff” would give you really nice shampoo-commercial hair lol. And is that stuff digitally tweaked? I wish it would be natural…

[YouTube - Slek Shampoo Commercial](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceErsIhhxY4) lol

For everyday I don’t really care, especially considering I wear my hair as it falls most of the time unbrushed and untamed, although luckily it seems to fall in the same way that David Tennant’s does and David Tennant is awesome…

That being said a date night ponytails are unacceptable…

My hair’s too long and thick to rock the messy bun. It’s unfortunate. Mostly I just work some ponytail action is my hair’s too poofy, or just wear it down. I have good hair considering I do zilch to it.

Most of the time, I keep my hair down. When I play sports, I put it in a pony.

LOLOLOL!! I saw this commercial when I was in China last summer!!! All of the commercials over there are even more digitally enhanced then in the US!! But no, that commercial is definitely tweaked a LOT. I’ve noticed that girls with really nice healthy hair, usually don’t have a secret product, but their hair is just naturally very smooth, soft, and thick. A product can only go so far to help. Apparently a good diet will show through your hair.

I usually wear my hair down too, only because it’s the most convenient for me. If it gets insanely hot or something, I tie it up.

My hair tends to look best down with nothing done to it. It’s naturally wavy and isn’t really high maintenance hair which is nice.

Ponytails are annoying because frizz arises. But if I feel like looking hardcore, like SATs or something, I’ll do this.

lol! SATs…(chortle, chortle) :)

^^ although I dont have a certain hair-do for the SATs, I have a specific outfit = p. Lol my favorite hoodie and sweatpants. Cant take a standardized test without them.

It’s hot in Arizona as most people know. Summertime, messy bun, ponytail, ANYTHING to get it out your way. Maybe wear it down sometimes.

After school, I just throw in a messy bun. And throw on some basketball shorts.

I also like that pineed messy bun. Great for track practice.

hahaha, i love all of these superficial threads about girls’ looks ;] seriousss.
