Poor international wonders...

i'm a senior from South korea..
almost every year, the grading system is changed ...and i go to really competative school(one of the 5 well-known private schools in Korea).
I was on the first place when i was 9th grade in Middle school.. but it's really hard to do well like before here in highschool. to enter my school, all studnets should take the school's own entrance exam and most of the accepted students are so smart. this school send many students to top universities in Korea.
of course, Korean universities understand this and welcome students from this school.............cuz they usually get really good scores on .. the entrace test.. like Korean SAT.
actually there is kind of a school-level here. they consider that.
some of my friends who also wanted to study abroad transferred to less competative schools to get better gpas.
i've just stayed here and stuggled....cuz i didn't wanna ..escape?...
i'm so worried about my gpa.........................
i just wonder smith can understand this situation if my counselor explains about this for me or send my class rank.
sometimes the average scores of our class is 40/100 or something really look miserable...................
i'm the only one student who wants to study abroad to another country in our school.. maybe in our area..
I've prepared everything only by myself ..there is no one to help me in our school and some even still criticize about my plan to apply for american colleges.. though i don't mind now...
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. do you think SAT is more important at least to International applicants?? i think i should get good sat scores to get into my smith... any advice will be appreciated..
