Gpa!

hi
i'm a senior living in South Korea .
actually, Korean grading system has been changed and it is not easy for everyone to get good grades nowadays...
In the new standard-scoring system, a student is evaluated based on the performances of others who took the exam.
Furthermore i go to really competitive private school which has sent a lot of students to top Korean universities.
(sometimes, exams are really difficult and the average scores under 1.0)
If I apply for Korean universities, they must consider something.. like my school's level .
but i don't think american colleges can understand this situation.

If i submit my rank, are they gonna consider that instead of gpa?
I'm just really worried about that... cuz i do know gpa is the most important factor.
and.. do you think SAT is more important than GPA for International students??

just submit your school profile (your school principal can make it) that explains all about the grading system, the EC, the history, the achivements,, basically everything about your school with english.
my country and my school, both change its grading system EVERY year. and i can still apply to univs with that.. besides,,all of the international admission people (seriously) know about your country's education. (believe it or not)

gpa is important,,but others too. SAT is surely important to freshman applicant since its like an international test..so they can really know your quality based on an international grading system,,but once again,,its not everything,,

good luck.
