It would seem all too weird for those with stellar stats to be rejected so I don’t really know if we should consider using the portal change as a means of a rejection/acceptance… what do you guys think?

I’m suprised mine changed… I’m not even in the top 25% of my grad class… so idk and my sat is averageish… ehh hopefully my essays will pull me in =

It may just be routine changes as the admissions process goes on. I’ve seen in threads from previous years that the portal changes right before decisions are released saying that review is complete and a decision will be available soon. Everything is just speculation though, but I don’t think it’s a sign of anything except the fact that the admission process is moving along and nearly finished.

I seriously doubt a portal change means an acceptance, I think it just means they’re done reading your application and have either made a decision or are waiting to read the rest of the applications to decide on you or not. Don’t count on anything.

BUT just one doubt… I got my rejection from NYU and I checked my portal afterwards and it still said “we are processing your application” and THAT is why I am so confused…

BUT again, that is NYU and not BU so -shrug- it is what it is =/

I got my email one that silent break of dawn on Feb. 15
The sun has not yet come up but the sky was glowing with orange.

It felt like I was in the Saharas of Africa wakign to take a deep breath of fresh air.

frantically, heart beating, I began checking my email at 3AM in the morning mind you that I have to wake up at 5AM just to get to school on time. At 3:04 I opened my admissions email and alas " I am sorry to inform… yada yada yada.

I felt like a slaughtered animal with vultures flying over head.

JK it was not that bad xD. I found out through email.
