Has anyone done the final interview yet?
My daughter had the interview today it was looooong the total process was a little over 5 hours. Ended about an hour ago, did not have a chance to talk to her about the interview.
We also have a personal tragedy to deal with. While she was in the interview we received a call that her best friend since elementary school passed away. So, now the interview is behind us, I am trying to figure out how to break this news to her. I am sorry, I may not be able to post much more than this. Please pray for my daughter’s best friends family.
Sorry to hear about your daughter’s best friend. That is so sad.
Its just been like a double whammy for my daughter. First its her best friend and then she didn’t hear from the Posse yet, so she is convinced that she is not a scholar. I think when she gets over the shock of losing her friend, she will actually appreciate the opportunity she had.
Congratulations to those who have had their interviews and have gotten positive results and best of luck to all the kids who need to still have their final interview.

For Posse, I heard it is a little different this year. Posse ATL BU finalists were told during their final interview that they will be notified within a month. Another school interviewed their finalists today and said the same thing. So it is too soon to say now.

Does anyone here know if Posse Scholars get an early decision acceptance letter too? Since we applied ED and those decisions come out this Friday, will we get a formal acceptance letter or is it different?
Posse LA still hasn’t sent any communication after the final interview and call… so I’m wondering what the next steps are. I’m aware that there’s an awards ceremony + PCT begins but it’s been a while.
Yes, my DD received an acceptance letter from the school when it sent all ED letters out.
