Possibility of Getting Accepted to an Ivy with Low Freshman/Sophomore GPAs?

Hello, collegeconfidential denizens.
I have a question in regard to my future college applications.
To begin, I am a junior at a private, international American school. I moved here last year. While I attended high school in the US during my ninth and tenth grade years, I managed to get a cumulative GPA of a little over 3.5; however, now, I am taking difficult classes and my current GPA(solely for this year) is around 4.2(weighted, of course) and I earned a "Learning for Life" award last semester. Throughout my high school career, I have been an active thespian, taking summer theater courses at distinctive universities and what not + I volunteered at the community theater in this country this year. Additionally, I have volunteered at a zoo in the US. I am taking a course at Brown University this summer and will be volunteering at a special needs hospital. I know that this does not sound like very much, but it has been very difficult as I have been rather nomadic seeing that I have not lived in the same spot for more than a year. Will this be considered while viewing my college application?

If I manage to get decent SAT scores...will I have the possibility of being admitted into Cornell/ Columbia/ Dartmouth/ etc. etc.?

get your SAT above 2250+ and get multiple scores of 700+ on SAT2 and 5’s on AP exams. That may be able to marginally compensate for your GPA. keyword: MAYBE.

if you’re an interesting enough applicant, have a clear devotion to your activities (this is evident), and can write a good essay, you have a chance, albeit a small one.
