Possibility of Revoked Admission

So Exeter sent me a letter in the mail today saying that if I don't send in my final grades transcripts for 8th grade by June 30th, they reserve the right to revoke my admission.

This worries me. Why? Because I'm homeschooled and I have to finish 4 major exams before June 30th. These aren't like finals. These exams take about 3 days to complete, each one is on every subject and they require a lot of papers to go along with them before I have to mail them to the private school in the US that grades the exams. At the moment I'm already working double-time to finish 2 exams a month. I don't know if four will be possible. I'll try my best of course.

And will Exeter revoke my admission prematurely if I told them about my situation? Or would they listen and give me a chance to finish at a later deadline? Or should I just not write to them at all and give it all I've got? I'm extremely worried. But now I have to go revise for another exam.

Drop me a line of advice. I'm desperate.

I think you should call and ask.

In the meantime I’d work on those exams :o

I really think you should e-mail the dean. I’m sure they’re just going by a typical public/private school exam schedule.

Yeah Dude, definately email the director and tell them what’s going on. They knew you were homeschooled when they admitted you. I’m sure they’ll be OK.

Okay, thanks guys. My dad says he’ll ring up the Dean of Students tonight and explain our position.

A bit late, but I do hope that your father called the Admissions Office at Exeter. I reallyreally hope that you get in. I’m so excited for you! hhaha. Hopefully I get accepted next year or something :)
