Possible to graduate on time? (2+2)

Is it possible to graduate in 2 years, if transfered from a CC with 2 yrs study already?
Or even to the extent to graduate with honor programs?
THanks

it really depends on your major and the number of upper division classes (assuming you complete all lower division requirements at your CC) you need to complete in order to graduate in your major. most ppl i know who have transferred were able to graduate in 2 years; however, an EE major friend i have will be unable to graduate in 2 years due to the amount of classes he needs to complete for his major and will have to stay an extra year.

agree. especially if u're a history or socio major.

YES.

(for non-science/engineering majors).

of course, my sister transferred after tow years and she will currently be at her UC for two more. it is especially easy if you take summer school

yes its possible i transferred from monroe community college to Cornell University and will have no problem graduating in two more years, and ive never done summer school.

please dont listen to the ******** that transfer counselors at CC give you. (yes, it is ********.) you need to be methodical about researching the courses, but finshing graduation requirements is absolutely no problem at all. in fact, i'm double majoring and STILL graduating in at LEAST two years, if not less then that. it is definitely possible.

Thanks.
What about honor program? Does it take you more than 2 years to finish a honor program?

I have transferred, sadly, more than one time. And, I am still going to be out on time. If I can raise the bucks, maybe one semester early.

You have to just make totally sure that your credits are transferable. Your school might have a transfer type of office or you might have to speak with your academic advisor. Just make sure everything is transferable. do whatever it takes- man, get letters from the profs who taught the courses if need be.

You also have to figure out when the classes you need to graduate are taught. It could be every other year or something, so you have to find that out. If need be speak with the head of the department of your major about that if your school does not have a little time line on their site explaining when things are taught.

If you work hard, you can totally get out on time. But, do not rule out going in the summer if you have to.
