Possible to submit different "common info" to different schools with the common app?

Hi!
Let's say I apply to 3 schools: A,B and C.
I have completely filled in the "common part" of the common app and each of the specific parts for the schools A,B and C.
Would it be possible to submit everything to school A and then go back to the "common part" and change some stuff (personalize the essay for school B for example) and then send everything to school B. Idem school C.

Or would the changed information for school be also be changed for school A even if I had submitted the information to school A before I made those changes?

Thanks

smartest thing
Create 3 ID's and import

what do you mean?

You can send a different common application to each school. Before sending in one, remove from "My Colleges" the schools that you do not want to send the current copy of the common app, then submit it. If you have been working on some of the schools that you removed from the list, the information will still be there once you re-add those schools.
Then you can start working on a new common app, and repeat the process.
Good luck!

mrkay, thanks for the reply!!
That is one good idea! But is the method authorized? in fact, who cares, the methos is logical and it works...

Yeah, simply submit it to one college, and then afterwards click "copy" and rename the application (at the top of the page). It copies all the information but you can change it or send it to different schools.

Wait, so when you submit the Common Application, does it automatically go to all of the schools on your list? As in...once you submit it to one (unless you do this copying thing), you're pretty much done with it..?

I think the common app website says that each time you submit the common app part of your application, it is sent to all schools under "My Colleges." Perhaps not, but I think it's safer to remove them before you send a certain version of the application. I've tried adding a school, working on the supplement, removing it before sending the common app to my Early school, then adding it again. The info I put it did not disappear, so don't worry about removing a school whose application you were working on.

Also, seeing that the common app site allows one to edit the common app after submission to some schools, doing so is probably authorized.

what authoruized??

If u file a paper app, the same person can send 7 essays to 7 colleges
Why different online?
