Hello all,
I just want to send common app to one school for early action, so is it possible that i just sent my common app to this particular school and can still make changes later when i send to other schools? thanks.

Unfortunately, I don’t think that is possible. The common app is supposed to make it easier. Hence, you have to submit just once to all schools. I

Unless, you have something huge to change that is absolutely necessary, I don’t think that’s allowed.

Hey, and you’re applying to Cornell (ED)?

I am new to this process as well, but based on other threads that I have read, I believe that once you submit the common app to one school, you can create a new application, transfer all data including recommendations on to the new one, and then change it for the schools to which you have not yet submitted. You need to read the directions carefully - I think you have to delete the schools from one app and then add them on the other, but I have never done it so I don’t know the order. I am about 99% sure it is possible but you need to research carefully.

ACSalltheway is very wrong. There are commonapp “Versions” that can be sent out to different colleges, editing every detail if neccesary. So don’t worry about it and send it to whatever college u want to and u cud just chnage whatever u want to in the next version. You can have upto ten different versions of the app…

I should know, im banking on it, cuz i just ED-ed to Columbia, and I need to change my stuff for some of my EA and regular decision colleges…

Google commonapp versions, u’ll be glad… =)

Yes, the Common Application has very clear instructions for altering the application after it has been sent to one school. Just look at the instruction page.
