Hi, so the problem I’m facing is that my school requires us to take two years of math in one year, one first semester, and the other second semester. The thing is, I’m not doing so well in this class that is technically one year above my current grade level. (I’m still sophomore, so the course I’m taking count as my junior GPA). I’m not failing it. However, since I’m applying to physics in college which is closely related to math, and considering applying to some selective colleges also, I’m afraid my chances will be severely hindered. It’s almost the end of the school year, and I’m wondering if I can change my school and retake it when I’m actually a sophomore? How will this look on my transcript?
I suppose I could take sat subject tests as well as AP calculus(next year’s course) to show I’m actually not as hopeless in math as I appear, just prone to screwing up periodically, but in terms of GPA I’m quite lost…
Thanks a lot and it would be great if anyone could help!
