<p>^^^ Haha, yeah. I last read the books years ago and saw the movies not much more recently. I’m a LotR fan more by absorption of random facts from my truly obsessed friend than from actually reading the books/watching the movies.</p>
<p>I always feel ashamed that I haven’t read the books. I’ve read the appendices of the books, which is where all the info is anyway, and spent countless hours watching the films and googling/on wikipedia, but never read the books. I usually dislike British authors though, at least of that period.</p>
<p>Someone gave me the Lord of the Rings trilogy. </p>
<p>I tried watching it a couple of years ago. When it first came out. It was scary for some reason.</p>
<p>So I tried watching it again, recently. Personally found it sleep-inducing. Comparable to let’s say the Superbowl? Yea, I feel so un-geeky atm.</p>
