How may more posts until the race to the 2,000th post begins?

Well, now that you’ve mentioned it…

The race to 1,000 started around the 900th post… I see that we are approaching 1,900.

Random thought: Why can’t I sleep past 8 AM on the weekend?

^Because you’re not a late sleeper? My parents woke me up at 9 to straighten up my room, because they knew I wasn’t going to do it. I’d rather sleep til 11…

I slept in until 9:30 am.

Lulz, I bet we’ll break 2000 sometime today.

Cary Grant + Katharine Hepburn + James Stewart = One of the awesome-est casts ever

This is intriguing:

I love how ‘super massive’ is appropriate scientific terminology to describe a black hole.

yoooooooooooooooooooo
^like the muse song!

Glaciers melting in the dead of night and the superstars sucked into the super massive.

FIFA ftw!

So Muse were actually being scientifically correct!

Hey I have a question, and I’m too lazy to go on google and search this up. In Lord of The Rings, how come there is only one wizard fighting in the whole war? You figure there are other wizards out there, and how come they’re lame? Where’s the thunder? the fire? the cool tricks beside lighting the end of their stick?

Back from state!!!

I lost in the quarters… we had a girls doubles win state, boys singles finalist, and a boys doubles win state as FRESHMAN! (pwn!) :P

Our girls team got 2nd place. As the boys would say: nbd.

I miss CC! I couldn’t get on for 3 days! Torture :P

The one in NJ is suppose to be one of the best? Whoa, I did not know that.

This essentially confirmed any fear I ever had about roller coasters. Thanks.

Interesting. I’ve actually wondered about this a couple of times as well. I think I’ll ponder over this and post something on this later.

There are only 5 wizards in total. Gandalf, Saruman, Radagast and two unnamed(or whose names I can’t remember) ones. Saruman, as you know, turns evil. Radagast is not much a warrior - he concerns himself with animals and the like (in fact, he was the one who sent the eagle to look for Gandalf when he was being held by Saruman). Nothing much is mentioned about the final two wizards, but they had a specific task, someplace east, away from the action of the main LotR storyline

Yeah, they don’t look that cool, but they know a lot of ****, having been around since the beginning of the world and everything. It’s their wisdom, not the added benefits like roaring at Balrogs, that’s meant to count. (I guess they’re designed for books more than movies.)

^^ The other two wizards are the Blue Wizards, who went into the far east and south and tried to stir up resistance behind Sauron’s lines. They were the ones that kept Harad and Rhun from going completely evil.

^^“Naur an edraith ammen! Naur dan i nguarhoth!” entire hillside bursts into flame, sending Warg pack running

Or what about the time he fights the Ringwraiths? “such light and flame cannot have been seen on Weathertop since the war beacons of old.”

Gandalf packs a lot more punch in the books than he does in the movie.
