Hi all! I'm a senior at Cornell. I haven't taken classes in the psych department, but the business psychology classes I've taken are far and away my favorite classes at the school and I've been conducting research to write my thesis on consumer psychology. Both of my parents are psychologists and I have decided to look into Post Bacc programs in psychology with the intention of taking the requisite classes needed to enter a PHD program in clinical psychology. It looks like there are very few official post bacc programs in psychology; how else could someone who wants to get a PHD in psychology but needs to take pre req psych classes do that? Is post bacc the only way or could I somehow stay at Cornell after I graduate this year and take psych classes, or does anyone know another way I could do the pre reqs? Like how is this done when someone realizes they want to make a professional shift from a business major to a psych PHD track? Please let me know when you can. I'd be grateful for any advice.

Bump!

Seems like something you should discuss with an academic advisor.
