postmarked the 1st?

the website says all documents must be received by the 1st! oh my goodness. did anyone else not notice this? i was thinking postmarked!

All applicants for Early Action must clearly indicate their intention in the appropriate space on the application form. They should follow the normal application procedure except that the transcript should show three years of high school work, and SAT or ACT scores should be from the junior year. Scores from SATII Subject Tests should be included if available. Please note that the Early Action review is based on information from freshman, sophomore and junior years, so it is not necessary to rush fall subject test scores. Fall scores will be added to an applicant’s file if the student is deferred to the regular review. "The application and all supporting credentials must be postmarked by November 1."

Learn to read. Jp, but seriously stop trying to scare people.

no i don't think my post was clear
i'm talking about the APPLICATION, not so much as all the other stuff
i really thought it was supposed to be postmarked the 1st!

Akarjjred, There are a couple of places on the website that say "received by November 1" and the information for applicants page does list Nov 1 as "the deadline for the receipt of Early Action applications," so gonzo lux didn't misread, he probably just read something different than you did. Don't worry though, I called about a week ago and they said it is postmark they just put the other on some things to encourage you to get stuff in earlier.

are you serious! because nct3, i don't know you, but i do love you!
