Potential Incoming Freshman- Brutality of Grade Deflation?

Hey guys,
I was just admitted to the Princeton SCEA 2018 class. I loved Princeton and it's entire atmosphere. My one concern is how brutal grade deflation is at Princeton. My intention was to go to medical school and med schools def. stress a high GPA. To maintain a high GPA, I understand much dedication and work must be put in, but exactly how much? Will it be to the extent of perpetually studying in my room? I am not the most intelligent guy but I am willing to work hard. Do you feel grade deflation is over-exaggerated at Pton? Will I be constantly studying if I choose to go along the pre-med track?

Thanks.
