Okay I HAVE to increase my score by 150+ pts (mainly in CR and W), and am considering to get a PR SAT book, cause I heard its notorious for its difficulty. I have 2 options: the Cracking the SAT or the 11 Practice Tests. I think I have the basics down, so I'm not in need of a book that focuses on strategy. So then is the 11 Practice Tests the way to go?

I already have the Barrons one and I will be using that as well. Oh yeah and hows the McGraw Hill Book?

get 11 !,
i own both of them
and unless your are new to the SAT and need to get the notion of the way questions are asked, Cracking is useless(apart from the 3+1tests)

If you have Barrons... that should be enough.

But if you are getting something, get McGraw Hill. The vocab lessons are organized into easy to remember groups, there are lots of practice tests and questions, and it is organized like a workbook with lessons and worksheets.

If you feel like you have to get a PR book, get 11 tests.

They all suck...bluebook for life.....no seriously...the writing i guess PR is fine...but reading....nothing even comes close to the accuarcy of BB. Yes, it's true that PR is harder....but in a bad way......in my opinion at least.........like i don't know how to explain it...but even though the questions from pr and bb are set up the same way...i guess the reasoning and logic behind each answer choice is different. If you don't believe me, do a section of PR/Barron's....and then do another reading section from PR and you'll know what i mean....it feels different..... and if u ran out of test from bb ....there's always extra from the online course...
