Practice ACT Test vs. ACT TEST

Last year was my first time taking the ACT. I was a sophomore and scored a 26. I have been studying and taking practice tests from “The Real ACT Prep Guide” weekly. Over the past few practice tests I have received scores in the 30’s. 33 was my average composite scores of out of 3 that I’ve taken, receiving my best score of a 36 on the science section. Can anyone tell me what I can expect from the actual ACT when I’m receiving these types of scores on practice tests? Do the practice test scores directly translate into what I have the potential of getting on the real thing. I’m not sure if the practice tests provided in the guide are old retired editions of the ACT or if they are the companies made up replicas, which could make a huge difference.

You have been using real ACT tests. There are several more tests released in booklet form that are more recent.
