Is there a map of the Pratt dorm, prefereably one with basic dimensions. I am trying to pre-order a small refrigerator and other items but have no idea if they will fit. Any insights greatly appreciated.

Thanks !

…didn’t realize this was so old. got too excited having an answer. oh well, for anyone else who was wondering :)

By the bye, having completed the move in process for my daughter, I can only confirm the rumors that Pratt is… incredible. My daughter won’t want to come home. The building is nice on the outside but stunning on the inside, the rooms are large, the bathrooms more than adequate, the common areas are described as “the ski lodge” or “hogwarts”. The writing center is located in the dorm. We used risers for the bed to add storage. I saw some folks with smaller fridges under a lifted bed. We went with a shared larger fridge. The closet space is very adequate. I have heard NO negatives about the dorm from anyone which is unheard of (no pun intended).

And… we were supposed to move in on Sunday, got permission to move in Saturday and that was moved to Friday (they said just do it and were very gracious about it) based on hurricane Irene. A only-semi-boring YouTube video taken on Friday with most students yet to arrive (might be interesting to those who have not made multiple visits) is available at:

I lived in Pratt for 2 years. Great spot. Pretty spacious rooms for a college dorm. I wouldn’t bring the refrigerator from your 6 BR house at home, but any basic short fridge will fit in somewhere without much trouble.
