My D was accepted to both Pratt and CCA in fashion design and is trying to decide between them. We visited CCA last week and talked to two students but she hasnt been able to talk to a student in the fashion program at Pratt. May 1 is rapidly approaching. Can anyone offer any insight into the quality of Pratt's program, etc? We have seen mixed reviews on CC so any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

^This post is completely uncalled for and really none of your business. Who’s to say OP’s daughter won’t be successful in her career pursuits as a fashion designer? It’s going to take a lot of work and perseverance, but success is certainly in sight and cannot be based on statistics alone. But this is completely off topic; OP asked for help in her dilemma of choosing between two schools.
OP, I know little about CCA’s program, but I believe Pratt’s fashion design program is quite good. If I’m not mistaken, Pratt’s fashion design program was first to be introduced in the US. The school does a great job in promoting the students with its annual fashion show and ultimate opportunities and connections in the industry. Just the other day, I was watching a video on a group of students participating in a contest for designing a dress for urban outfitters (link found here----> [Urban Outfitters - Features - Designed By: Pratt Institute](<a href=“Urban Outfitters”>Urban Outfitters) ) Also, you can’t beat the opportunities found in the nation’s fashion capital of NYC. Its history and location puts the school at an advantage over most in fashion world. I hope this helps.
