And the Deacon nation. He was a great coach and family man. God bless you.

We were very sorry to hear that news. He has done a great job at Wake, and will be missed in the ACC!

I am almost at a loss for words...

Coach Prosser was a great, great guy and a wonderful representative of our university. I had the opportunity to talk with him once or twice and he was always very kind and polite...he will be sorely missed.

I've seen him several times, he used to eat at the quizno's i work at quite often....he was always really nice to me.

I remember one time he was there, and one of my friends asked who he was, and I had to tell him (he was somewhat of a local hero or celebrity).

It is really sad, he was just a class act. I just wish he could see what his recruiting efforts will lead to in the next couple of years.

Yeah, he had some really good recruits lined up for this year and next year right?

my dad played for him when he coached at Xavier here in Ohio...

It really is a tragedy...

Yes, the #3 recruit, #10 recruit, and #17 recruit (from rivals.com) are verbally committed to Wake.
