Prayers for SoCal

<p>Some of you have probably already heard, but SoCal is on fire right now. There are 11 fires burning out of control, 9 in SD county alone. The worst ones are 0% contained. 300,000 people have been evacuated in SD, and over 600 homes have burned down so far (remember, they aren't even contained yet). I know you guys can help, so if you could keep my family, friends, and SoCal residents in your prayers, I would be so grateful. Thank you, and God Bless!</p>

<p>Thank you! We were given mandatory evacuation orders at 5:30 this morning, as a new, 1000+ acre fire broke out and is 0% contained. Keep praying!</p>

<p>hey VC, I dont know how threatened you are, but my brother has a house in Mission Beach and if you guys have nowhere to go then Im sure he will let you guys in with open arms … its an alternative to going to a shelter ( if thats your only option )</p>

<p>Thanks so much to those of you who expressed concern for myself and my family during this difficult time. I was able to return home last night, and, with the exception of ash being everywhere, everything was fine. Spending almost an entire week in an evacuation center was certainly a humbling experience, and I will never again take a shower for granted. Thanks so much again, may God bless you and yours always!</p>
