Did anyone hear from Global Issues yet? We received nothing today in eastern Pennsylvania. I would think if decisions were mailed Friday we would have heard.

Yeah, same here in Michigan! I was nervous all day in school because I figured today would be the day. I literally ran to my mailbox after school, but nothing!

Stuff was postmarked April 1st I’m expecting it today in Chicago.

I figured we’d hear today as well but nothing in Iowa!

Yeah nothing here either. Too bad. Anyone know how many people applied to this program?

I hope they come today! I don’t know if I can wait any longer!

Nothing in the mail today either. Good luck to all of you.

Nothing here either…disappointing. Doesn’t mail generally take 2 days to get from point A to point B? And good luck to you as well!

Nope, nothing here either! Good luck, it would be really fun if we all got in, we’d already have a little group of friends!

Nothing here today. Anyone else hear?

Got mine here today…rejected…bummer. Good luck to the rest of you!

Update: I called the Pre-College office yesterday afternoon, and they just said that the mail might not have gone out until Saturday, as they were held up at the Notre Dame post office or something of the sort.

now for my news…

ACCEPTED!!

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS PROGRAM!! To everyone who accepted- hit me up with a message and we can maybe be Facebook friends? To everyone not accepted- DON’T WORRY! This program is a big deal in a positive sense, since getting in is almost guaranteed admission. However, getting denied is NOT A BIG DEAL! There are a million other great summer programs. More importantly, I know people who got in all over the place after getting rejected. I have a friend who is going to Washington University in St. Louis who was rejected, and I have a buddy who got into both Notre Dame and Vanderbilt after getting turned down from here.

:):):) im so happy to everyone who made it!!

I didn’t get in. I’m sure it was because of my dreadful ACT score. Hopefully if I can nip that in the bud, maybe I’ll have a shot at undergrad admissions. Though I’m honestly a little burnt out from this. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to keep praying that God leads me where I’m supposed to be. Good luck to everyone and hopefully those of who got rejected can manage to have a good summer regardless! :)

i was waitlisted for the african american scholars program. do i have any chance whatsoever in getting in?? plzzzz reply :)
