<p>hi again. so i applied in October. and I'm expecting my results any day. basically i am majoring in per-journalism. and i was wondering since that is a less popular major at uconn and in a less popular dept. (school of liberal arts and science) does that mean i have a better chance of getting in?</p>

<p>do i have a better chance of getting in uconn then someone who is going for nursing or business… they are more popular schools and harder to get into… since journalism is not as popular i thought i might have a greater chance… or no?</p>
<p>Relative to those two prospective majors, yes, you do. Those two majors, however, are not housed in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.</p>
