Pre-Law

I am currently a junior in High School, and due to my family's middle class income, I am not planning on going to a private school. I've looked around, and I have almost completely decided on Binghamton University (unless RPI loves me, which is doubtful). I have always wanted to change the world, and I think that I would be great as a lawyer, and maybe even a politician. Until recently I didn't really think of it as a possibility, because I love Computer Science and I have planned on doing that for years. I decided to look into it because I want to keep the possibility open, but I couldn't find any information about the Pre-Law major on the Binghamton website, other than that I can be in almost any major. Do Pre-Law programs actually have any requirements, and if I went to school for Computer Science, would I be prepared to go into Law School?

Actually, I think CS would be a great Pre-Law major. CS involves a ton of logic and abstract thinking, so as long as you can write well, you should be very well prepared for law school.

You can be pre-law with any major. Most law school will look at your college GPA and your LSAT score. Go with a major you enjoy and do well is the best way to prepare for law school.
