Pre-med at Elon vs USC Honors (Vs UAB?)

Hey all, DD has admission (with part scholarship) to Elon (NC), USC Honors (Columbia, SC) and UAB. She is interested in the pre-med track. She attended the diversity weekend at Elon this past weekend and loved it, and we are heading to visit USC this friday. We are based in Charlotte NC, so distance wise, it is almost same to Elon and USC. Also, financially although Elon is expensive over USC, but not by much (approx. 12k over four years), thanks to her scholarships. UAB works out the cheapest, thanks to the scholarships she got their, but she is adamant about not going there (something about lower rank, not so nice campus etc). Distance wise too, it is furthest.

I prefer she study at a school that has an associated med school, cause I think it gives some early access opportunities, but that is just my gut feel. Wanted to get the opinions of parents and students on this forum on these two (three?) schools, especially with a focus on pre-med.

Thanks for looking!

bump!

My daughter is at USC honors and is now in her first year in Pharmacy school. We also visited Elon. While we loved Elons tour and campus it is very different than USC’s campus and probably overall experience outside of classes. I always believe a kid needs to love their surroundings to be able to do well in school. Does she like the larger campus or smaller feel? Is she a big football fan? Would she enjoy the games in the fall? My daughter loves it and is very happy in the pharmacy school.
