Pre-med/Biochem at NYU or a state school

I have several questions surrounding my current situation. I am a prospective biochem major looking to go pre-med. I’m pretty sure I read at one point that at NYU all pre-med courses are covered by the major. I would be going to ISU for free in the Honors program and I have been offered around 53k from NYU including a work study. I 100% prefer going to NYU to ISU. I am hoping to get a scholarship through my dad’s work to cover the rest of tuition at NYU but I won’t find out if I get it til after may 1st. I’m really on my own for paying for college. So that brings up question #1: is a degree from NYU worth the debt when considering free school? Obviously I know that NYU is better than a state school but to what degree should I be willing to put myself in debt for the quality of my education?
Question #2: Will med schools look at a lower GPA from NYU and see it as an equal to a higher GPA from ISU? Do they care? I read on a thread that being in the science program at NYU lowers your GPA generally.

3: Just overall will going to NYU better prepare me for med school/ help me get into better med schools?

4: slightly off topic but I want to minor in Spanish. Will this be less attainable at NYU vs a state school?

It’s been answered million times here. Med school do not care the prestige of the UG you attend, your GPA and Mcat do. And NYU with a lot of debt is not worth the cost. However, if you can get a full ride with your dad’s company’s scholarship for NYU, then maybe it’s worth the risk.
