<p>i'm a junior and have a 4.0 and i've been taking the highest (AP's) classes at my school</p>
<p>my SAT scores are low... 700M, 660CR, 640W
and I get my SATII scores this week</p>
<p>I have a lot of leadership:
-started the Pre Med Club
-president of Science NHS
-president of Red Cross Club</p>
<p>I'm in many more clubs, orchestra, and I'm a regular volunteer at the hospital.</p>
<p>I want to major in pre med and minor in spanish.</p>
<p>What are my chances for Colgate?</p>

-Cornell (ED)
-Dickinson
-UVA
-UMCP
-William and Mary</p>
<p>You have strong chances at any of those schools. Keep in mind, though, that at the very top colleges and universities, a lot of similar applicants will apply. You’d be amazed how many thousands of 4.0 top-of-the-class club presidents and top athletes there are. So, keep your options open and don’t fixate too heavily on only one school. If one of those schools does not have room for you, some of the others will. </p>
<p>I’ve known many Colgate grads who’ve gone on to med school and been very successful. And someday you may be doing my open heart surgery, so will you please study very hard so you know what you’re doing? Thanks.</p>
