Pre-Med for TCNJ

Hi, I had a 3.6 freshman year, than a 3.4 soph, and with junior year ending I am at a 3.5 GPA. I had 1960 on SAT(720math, 640reading, 600writting(590 un-superscored)) and 690 on chem and bio sat2. I also took APChem this year and guessing I got around a 4. So I am thinking of applying to tcnj and they have a stellar record for med school acceptance, but they also have a pre-med tract which gives students almost a guarantee into umdnj which may factor into the acceptance rate and inflate the scores. My question is, would TCNJ be a good college for pre-med but not going on their pre-med route(it's extremely hard to get into and impossible with my grades). Also, what are some good majors for me I enjoy science(A chem, b+ bio Honor, B- AP CHEM(class average is a hair under 72%) ), math(A's except in sophmore where I got a B), and computer programming(A+). I was thinking chem or bio major, but high GPA is very hard to maintain in those. Any suggestions?

Those are specific questions that only TCNJ can answer.
You goal is med school but you should consider a backup plan that will lead you to the pharmaceutical industry. So, whatever major that may be.
