Pre-med gpa

from what i can gather from previous posts, it seems like the BCPM gpa is more important and influential than your overall or non-BCPM gpa. If this is true, what is the normal deviation from the overal gpa? Do people usually have a higher or lower BCPM, and by how much? I understand this fluctuates based on the major chosen, but i am curious. And in comparison to the average gpa's posted on med-schools' websites, if the average gpa is, lets say a 3.6, what can you expect the average BCPM to be.

thanx in advance

BCPM is usually lower than overall, because these courses are harder. More details available on the AAMC.org website
